Outstanding Program Award

In an era of shrinking school budgets, music and performing arts programs are some of the first areas to lose funding. We believe public school music education programs are as important as math, science, and other academic subjects. The Outstanding Program Award recognizes school systems that demonstrate their commitment to music education as a total, K-12 necessity.

Outstanding Musician Award

The Outstanding Musician Award recognized those students that demonstrate exemplary musicianship and commitment to music as a part of their life and school experience. These awards are presented at school music festivals like the Maine State Jazz Festival.

Scholarships

A variety of scholarships are awarded to those students wishing to further their music education by attending summer youth music programs and/or pursuing college careers in music and performing arts education.
