Successful Summer Facebook Fundraiser

Much to my surprise, the first Facebook Fundraiser for the Dale Huff Memorial Scholarship Fund ended with more donations than expected. That is actually a bit misleading. I'm not sure what I expected, honestly. The final tally from Facebook was $2,801, PLUS a sort-of last minute donation by Joanne Lee Photography, which brought us up over $3,100! This will definitely ensure I can continue with the awards I have already created, AND create some new ones!In the coming weeks I'll be doing some research into what will impact the most students and music programs and will create the scholarships to address those needs. Once I firm up those plans (and once I receive the money from Facebook) I will post my plans here and on the Fundraiser page on Facebook.
